This info helps Dispatchers and Police Officers determine what resources would be needed. If time permits, include your name, phone number, and a brief description of the emergency you are reporting. If you do not know the exact room number, please list floor or office suite name to identify your whereabouts. Three fields are * required: 1) building name, 2) room number, and 3) incident type. Enter the information in the “Request Emergency Assistance” pop-up window. Select the e-panic button as noted above – a pop-up window will open. To activate the e-panic button, please follow these simple steps: A yellow Alertus icon with a red button will also be installed on your desktop you can activate the system from there as well. The e-panic button is located on the taskbar in the bottom, right-hand corner of your screen near the digital clock, or by clicking the upward arrow ^ on the taskbar, then selecting the red button. The Alertus client has also been installed on faculty/staff computers – please check and verify your computer has the Alertus icon as noted below.
